Wet food mainly consists of raw animal materials such as muscle meat and organs. The raw meat materials used in the products inherently have a high moisture content. This means that the dog is already able to cover some of its water requirements when it eats this food. Many dogs also find wet food extremely tasty.

Dry food
In comparison to wet food, dry food has a longer shelf life and is easier to store and portion – there are thus some clear benefits offered by dry food. Dry food is available in many different forms and sizes. It can thus be precisely tailored to the individual tastes of our animal companions. We only use high-quality meat, cereals, and vegetables for our dry food to ensure that it not only tastes good but is also good for the dog.

Wet Food
It is rare for cats to drink from a water bowl of their own accord. Therefore, wet food is ideal for ensuring that the cat does not become dehydrated. Our complete cat food satisfies the wide-ranging needs of our picky friends. Our product range also includes items for special diets such as dietetic cat food.

Snacks and Cat Milk

1987
The Stockmeyer Group ( later called heristo ag ) acquires a small pet food factory in Hattem ( NL )
1987 - 1991
Following extensive modernization and restructuring of the company, the first cans of dog and cat food rolled off the production line. The foundation for the industrial production of pet food has thus been laid.
1991
A new, larger production facility is built in bremen.
1992-1999
saturn petcare continuously expands into new product sectors: alongside dry food and snacks, the range will soon include dog biscuits and cat milk. In 1999, saturn petcare started its cooperation with the company bosch in Blaufelden, which specialises in the production of high-quality dry food.
2004
A modern high-bay warehouse with space for more than 20,000 pallets is opened at the site in Bremen.
2018
After a construction period lasting around eleven months, a new storage hall and new offices are placed into operation.
2019 - 2020
In order to keep pace with the growth of the company, an additional office building is constructed at the site in Bremen.
