1987
The Stockmeyer Group ( later called heristo ag ) acquires a small pet food factory in Hattem ( NL )
1987 - 1991
Following extensive modernization and restructuring of the company, the first cans of dog and cat food rolled off the production line. The foundation for the industrial production of pet food has thus been laid.
1991
A new, larger production facility is built in bremen.
1992-1999
saturn petcare continuously expands into new product sectors: alongside dry food and snacks, the range will soon include dog biscuits and cat milk. In 1999, saturn petcare started its cooperation with the company bosch in Blaufelden, which specialises in the production of high-quality dry food.
2004
A modern high-bay warehouse with space for more than 20,000 pallets is opened at the site in Bremen.
2018
After a construction period lasting around eleven months, a new storage hall and new offices are placed into operation.
2019 - 2020
In order to keep pace with the growth of the company, an additional office building is constructed at the site in Bremen.
2021 - 2022
Expansion to the United States, wet pet food with future lines and packaging formats planned.
